Nursing is not just a profession but it is a passion. without a passion and willingness to care and help people. Nursing is noy my choice before, but my husband offers me to took this kind of course.when he said it, i doubt to myself if i can make it, because its hard to go to school again, at this point of my life now that im already 31 years old and have one daughter to take of. my husband sacrifice for me and to our family. he works as a seaman for 7 years, and he already knew how difficult to work abroad while your family is away from you. Me and my daughter sacrifices the 6 months without the presence of my husband beacause of his work. My husband think that nursing profession is different from other courses because of an oppurtunity to go abroad, i can petition them after, and that's we are wishing for, to be together, live together everyday.
Even if its not my choice, but now i still survive and find myself being a part of this profession, i have learned to love this course and i really do. thank to my husband for fulfilling the emptyness , in times when he is not around. I really find nusring as a good profession. And im very much happy and proud that there is someone like my husband who is willing to give strength and support financially. And im so thankful and blessed to the graces and good health that GOD given unto us.
What matters most in this life is our responsibilities. Not only being a NURSE as a professional but on how to become a caring NURSE someday, not only to our family but also to the people who need s our care.
